Frequently asked questions

Does Exocad work with DGSHAPE milling machines?

Yes. Exocad exports open STL files that DGSHAPE CAM software (MillBox, DGSHAPE CAM) reads. We set up the workflow when installing the milling machine.

What is the difference between a Perpetual and a Flex licence?

Perpetual is a permanent licence with one year of upgrade contract; afterwards you only pay if you want new versions. Flex is a subscription with new versions included and a lower upfront cost.

How much does an Exocad licence cost?

It depends on the licence model and modules (Core, Implant, Model Creator…). Send us an enquiry describing the work you do — we will send you a quote.

I have an older Exocad licence. Can I upgrade it?

Yes: by renewing the upgrade contract, through the Refresh programme for older licences, or by switching to Flex. Let us know which version you have.
